For more details of this restaurant, check out the dinner post of Sarabeth’s Tribeca. But for delectable brunch fare, keep perusing this! And for other brunch favorites, peep Marc Forgione, Locanda Verde, Plein Sud, Bubby’s in Tribeca, or Yerba Buena Perry, Five Points, ABC Kitchen around the city.
My friends and I went to Sarabeth’s Tribeca for brunch on July 4th. Our group of six was seated immediately with no reservation (it helps that the restaurant is 5,000 square feet). We tried to dress patriotically in red, white, and blue and had some delicious red drinks to celebrate America (as you can see below). As for the grub, I had been to the Sarabeth’s on Central Park South, so I definitely insisted on the Chicken and Apple Sausage. But otherwise, everyone got what she or he wanted, and we wound up with a smörgåsbord of dishes. The muffins/scones/preserves are another Sarabeth’s specialty, do don’t miss out on those.
Cheers!
Garden Omelette – mushroom, green peas, zucchini, cheddar cheese
Classic Eggs Benedict – Canadian bacon, Hollandaise, peppers, chives
Love the presentation on the muffin
The Red Omelette – chunky red pepper and tomato sauce, cheddar cheese, sour cream, chives
Spinach and Goat Cheese Omelette
Scrambled Egg Stuffed Popover
Similar to the popover at Marc Forgione
Grilled Portobello Sandwich – artichoke, goat cheese, basil
I had this — totally recommend unless you are craving eggs, plus you are sure to take half of it home for later
Chicken and Apple Breakfast Sausage
Applewood Smoked Bacon
